As a Functional Consultant, you will...

provide support following the implementation of the Itineris solution. Customers will receive functional and/or technical assistance to ensure optimal application performance and maintain operational continuity. 


What you will work on
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications aligned with the Itineris UMAX solution.
  • Manage assigned tickets, incidents, and service requests, ensuring SLAs are met.
  • Analyze, configure, and test solutions to meet customer goals and ensure quality of delivery.
  • Facilitate customer interactions, including participation in user workshops, off-site testing, and go-live activities.
  • Collaborate with the Service Delivery, product, or project team and other consultants to implement enhancements and resolve issues.
  • Manage assigned tickets, incidents, and service requests, ensuring SLAs are met.
  • Actively engage in project delivery, root cause analysis, and solution design.
  • Document solutions, provide user support, and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
  • Continuously expand and share your knowledge of utility operations, UMAX functionality, and best practices.

What you bring

  • An understanding of end-to-end utility process including new connection, service disconnection, and collections.
  • You are able to write clear functional documentation (e.g. configuration guides, issue log, or test cases).
  • You show involvement in configuration migration, data load validation, or go-live support activities.
  • You show analytical thinking and customer orientation.
  • You thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • You have a problem solving attitude and shows attention to detail.
  • Collaboration and teamwork attitude.
  • Adaptability and Time Management.

Good to have skills
  • Being familiar with utility billing and finance (e.g. Budget billing, Service Orders, Metering, Rate Structures, Customer Self-Service Portal, Tax Rules).
  • A basic technical aptitude. Meaning ability to read and interpret XMLs and interface file, comfortable analyzing SQL queries, not just experience with Excel but competence for data validation, pivot tables, vlook for reconciling customer/account data and the ability to identify data inconsistencies across different tables or reports.
  • Exposure to tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, TopDesk or ServiceNow for managing work items and change requests.
  • Understanding of the release cycle process, UAT preparation, and smoke testing practices.
  • Experience supporting environments with nightly batch jobs or middleware layers.

Experience, Qualification and Certifications
  • 2 to 5 years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent through experience 
  • Certifications:
    • Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate(MB-310) - Mandatory
